0-3 Caregiver Jamestown at Community Action Region VI

Community Action Region VI is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide quality care for infants and toddlers in our Jamestown Early Head Start program. The Early Head Start Caregiver will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development of young children.*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** Provide nurturing and responsive care to infants and toddlers in a group setting.* Create a safe and stimulating environment that promotes exploration and learning.* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of children.* Observe and document children's growth and development and use this information to inform curriculum and individualized plans.* Build positive relationships with children and families and maintain open communication with parents and guardians.* Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, including cleaning and sanitizing toys and equipment.* Ensure that all health and safety guidelines are followed, including administering medication and responding to emergencies.* Work collaboratively with all staff to maintain compliance with all program regulations.* Adhere to Community Action Code of Ethics and Confidentiality policy.* All other duties as assigned.*QUALIFICATIONS:** High school diploma or equivalent.* Must obtain CDA that the agency will assist with.* Ability to communicate effectively with young children, parents, and coworkers.* Dependable and able to work independently or as part of a team.* Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.* Preference given to candidates with early childhood experience, education, or CDA.This position is 40 hours per week with full benefits.* Paid Single Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance* Paid Life and Disability Insurance* Retirement Plan with Matching* Paid Holidays, Vacation, and Sick LeaveCommunity Action Region VI is an equal opportunity employer.All applicants must complete an Agency Employment Application.
