1st Class Pipe Welder at All About Labor, LLC

Position Summary:

We are seeking experienced Pipe Welders to join our team for industrial, shipyard, or construction projects. The Pipe Welder will be responsible for fitting and welding piping systems using various welding processes. This role requires strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Weld pipe components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions using GTAW, SMAW, or other welding techniques

• Interpret and work from blueprints, isometric drawings, and welding symbols

• Perform visual and quality inspections on welds to ensure compliance with project specifications and codes

• Cut, bevel, and prep pipe using saws, torches, or grinders as needed

• Align and secure pipe sections for welding using clamps, braces, and tack welds

• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order

• Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations

• Work as part of a team to meet production goals and deadlines

• Complete daily job reports or timecards as required

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Pipe Welder in industrial, shipyard, or commercial settings

• Proficient in TIG, Stick, or other relevant welding methods

• Ability to pass weld tests per project specifications

• Must pass a drug screen ([e.g., hair follicle or 10-panel]) and background check

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols

• Must be able to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying environmental conditions

• Own basic hand tools and PPE (if required)

• Reliable transportation to and from the job site

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification from AWS or similar welding authority

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification

• Experience working in shipyards, oil & gas, or industrial plant settings

• Ability to travel and qualify for per diem if applicable
