1st Shift - High Level Assembly at Work Now Staffing

Work Now Staffing is looking to hire High Level Assemblers for our Romeoville client.

Shift: 1st - 6:00am - 2:30pm, Monday - Friday, Overtime when is needed.

Pay: $16.50 per hour

Job Details:

• Responsible for performing precision smoothing, polishing, and grinding of metal objects
• Checks drawings to determine assembly and any special options
• Checks stock bins for adequate supplies of sub-assemblies, parts, and fasteners for the job. Contacts Assembler Lead if shortages exist or incorrect parts are in bins
• Maintain hand tools, equipment, inventory, and any necessary supplies
• Checks drawings to determine required assembly, exterior finish on product, checks drawings to determine required assembly, exterior finish on product, and any special options
• Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts, and sub-assemblies, per customer order
• From experience, resolves assembly problems. Reports other problems to line mechanic or supervisor for assistance
• Maintains clean and safe working environment in line with company policies

Job Requirements:

• 3+ years of assembly / manufacturing experience
• Ability to handle physical workload; pull/push and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills
