We are seeking a highly skilled Mazak Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will operate Mazak laser cutting machines to produce high-quality components with precision and efficiency. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of laser cutting processes, safety standards, and metal fabrication techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and monitor Mazak laser cutting machines to cut, shape, and fabricate metal components according to specifications.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files to ensure accurate production.
- Program Mazak laser equipment and make adjustments as needed for optimal performance.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery to maintain safe and efficient operation.
- Inspect finished parts for quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications; report any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with production team members to meet daily output and quality goals.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating Mazak laser cutting machines or similar CNC laser equipment.
- Strong knowledge of metal fabrication and laser cutting processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD files.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in CNC operation is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with programming Mazak lasers.
- Knowledge of sheet metal handling and processing.
- Familiarity with ISO or other quality standards in manufacturing.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move materials up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs].
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
