Position: Pipe Fitter

Location: Tulsa, OK

Pay: $23/hour

Experience: Proven experience as a pipe fitter or in a similar role; completion of a pipefitting apprenticeship or equivalent on-the-job training.

Education: High school diploma or GED required.

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM

ProRecruiters is seeking a Pipe Fitter to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications to plan pipe layout and installation.
• Cut, thread, bend, and weld pipes using hand and power tools.
• Install and repair piping systems, including water, steam, gas, air, and hydraulic lines.
• Measure, mark, and secure pipes using brackets, clamps, and welding equipment.
• Inspect systems for leaks using pressure gauges and testing methods.
• Collaborate with other trades to complete installations and repairs efficiently.
• Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.

Position Requirements:

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Skilled in the use of pipefitting tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of various piping systems (PVC, copper, steel, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, or in varying weather conditions.
• Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and work extended hours.
