Position: Program Assistant
Location: Lahaina, HI
Pay: $24/hour
Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in administrative management, nonprofit operations, or community development.
Education: High School Diploma.
Type: Full-time; Contract
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Employers Options is seeking a Program Assistant to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description:
- Support daily program operations and ensure goals and contracts are met.
- Manage program calendars, meetings, and partner coordination.
- Maintain and update systems (AppFolio, Alosant) for community operations.
- Assist with budgets, invoices, and grant or compliance reports.
- Coordinate events, outreach, and communication with residents and stakeholders.
- Prepare progress and impact reports for nonprofit and organizational use.
- Provide administrative and office management support.
Position Requirements:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and writing abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Smartsheet.
- Experience with budgeting, invoicing, and reporting.
- Knowledge of nonprofit compliance and documentation.
- Team player with professionalism and discretion.
- Valid Hawaii driver’s license; travel may be required.
