Lou-Rich is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finishing Supervisor to join our team. As the Finishing Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process by overseeing the visual inspection of all material prior to painting. You will be responsible for ensuring that the highest quality standards are met and that all products are finished according to specifications. Position Description:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operating workers, such as inspectors, precision workers, machine operators, assemblers, fabricators, and plant and system operators.
Essential Functions:
- Utilize IFS Reports to plan production schedules to schedule manpower.
- Monitor employee production, quality, time and attendance
- Direct manufacturing efforts for process improvements, scheduling of new projects and cost management activities.
- Interact with customers and/or auditors to provide information regarding products, processes, services and resolution of potential schedule conflicts.
- Order consumable materials for internal use within the department.
- Attend various meetings to communicate status (Quality, Production, Safety, Lean).
- Work cohesively with program management to resolve conflicts with customers.
- Maintain records as appropriate for customers, quality and personnel.

Requirements:- Four-year degree (preferably technical) with a minimum of 2 years Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment or a two-year associate degree with a minimum of 10 years.
- Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- In addition, candidate should have minimum of 10 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of ISO/QS certification-preferably with and through ISO/QS certification
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- PC skills including ERP, MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Access, and Intranet/Intranet, is a plus
- A strong ability to set and prioritize goals
- Ability to multi-task within a TEAM environment
- Participate in continuous improvement activities that result in reducing variation and waste in the manufacturing process
- A positive can-do attitude
- Strong motivation to succeed
- Problem solving skills
- Refuse to be satisfied with average performance
- Requires passing a pre-employment screening, which includes a drug screen

Lou-Rich Training Requirement:
· Applicable training will be completed by following the syllabi (Human Resources, Safety, IFS - Timeclock, IFS - Navigation, ISO, Inspection Hand Tools, Inspection Forms, CMM, and Technical) for each new hire and that will be verified by the Employee Orientation & Job Qualification form within the first 60 days of employment. Applicable training will be completed by following the individual’s assigned department training matrix (Assembly, CNC, Maintenance, Press Room, Paint line, Maintenance, Tool Room).
· Follow Supervisor/Manager training syllabus (Technical from above list). The effectiveness of supervisor/manager training guidelines will be determined by employee knowledge and demonstration of learned concepts. Additional training after the first several weeks of on-the-job training will be determined by the Supervisor in preparation to operate on their own as needed. Any follow-up training will be evaluated and provided at the 60-day review or as deemed necessary for the position.
· Blueprint reading, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, weld fabrication, ERP training, Supervision training.
