Position: Production Supervisor

Shift: 2nd Shift, generally starts at 2:30pm, but start times will vary depending on business need. 10-12 hour shifts are required as needed, and there will be generally 1-2 days notice when extended shifts are required.

Wages: 32.00 - 36.00 / hour

Summary:

We are looking for a hands-on Production Supervisor to join our second shift team. We are looking for a team player who is detail-oriented, highly motivated, customer-centric, and has strong interpersonal skills. The candidate must also be able to stay organized, multitask, solve problems, and work independently in a fast-paced environment. This is a hands-on position, and you will work on the production floor with the team.

Essential Duties:

Coordinate and track orders through the galvanizing process
Communicate order status
Develop and motivate the team
Manage and communicate KPI's
Move and stage orders with a forklift
Drive productivity, housekeeping, and organizational improvements
Accurately track, record, and report production numbers
Maintain plant materials and supplies
Recommend personnel action, including, but not limited to, annual evaluations, promotions, hiring, and firing
Ensure compliance with federal and state safety and environmental regulations
Additional duties as required

Qualifications:

2+ years prior management/supervision experience in a manufacturing environment, experience in galvanizing plant preferred
Strong leadership skills
Forklift experience
Computer and Microsoft skills
Strong organizational and communication skills
Bilingual is preferred
