Position: Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Garner, NC

Pay: $32/hour

Experience:

• At least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 1–3 years of PLC troubleshooting and electrical system experience.
• 1 to 2 years of experience with pneumatics. 

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

Type: Full-time; Direct Hire

Schedule: 2-2-3 rotation, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

• Perform preventative and repair maintenance on all production equipment following work orders and verbal instructions.
• Troubleshoot and repair DC equipment, controls, and electrical systems, including three-phase circuits.
• Conduct mechanical and electrical troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Install, adjust, and replace machinery parts as needed.
• Perform equipment changeovers, fabrication, welding, and rigging.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and manage inventory of parts and supplies.
• Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures to ensure a safe work environment.

Position Requirements:

• Knowledge of pneumatics, welding, fabricating, and machine shop operations.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed to complete assigned tasks.
