Job Description
One of the largest non-profit healthcare systems in the US is excited to welcome a fellowship trained Urologic Oncologist to join their expanding academic urology practice with a focus on genitourinary oncology disease. The candidate has the opportunity to participate in the Urology Residency Program, which includes a faculty appointment. Currently, there are 6 urologists and 6 APPs in this academic department. Hospital Highlights: • Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgeries with Multiple Robotic Rooms • Dedicated OR time: Have established block time available • Main Hospital is a Level I Trauma Center, 389 Beds • Equipped with DaVinci XI robots, Holmium lasers, and Moses laser Position Highlights: • Access to a large, established Primary Care network and referral base • Physician can expect to have high oncology volume • Opportunity to work with multidisciplinary Oncology Specialists in the Cancer Center and participate in clinical trials • Conducting research is preferred, but not required • Teaching of medical students and Urology residents • Call will be approximately 1:6 to 1:7, residents assist with first call • Can sponsor H1b visa candidates • Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program eligible • Use Epic for EMR • Generous Benefit Package to Include Two Year Income Guarantee + Relocation Allowance Area Highlights: This city in Nebraska was ranked #18 in the 25 “Best Places to Live” by U.S. News
