Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our team in the construction sales sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth in the commercial flooring market, developing new business opportunities, and managing existing client relationships. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of the construction industry and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with general contractors and end-users to drive sales of commercial flooring products.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.
- Manage the sales process from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the installation team to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to provide accurate product recommendations and solutions.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction sales, preferably in commercial flooring.
- Strong business development skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience with territory management and strategic planning.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of flooring installation processes and requirements is a plus.
