Position Overview
The Account Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for clients within the National Construction Team. This role is responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, overseeing project execution, and ensuring customer satisfaction on a national scale. The Account Manager will collaborate closely with internal teams—including Estimating, Operations, and Project Management—to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to Delaware Valley Paving’s high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the main liaison for assigned national accounts, providing responsive and proactive communication.
  • Manage multiple client projects from kickoff through completion, ensuring smooth execution.
  • Partner with Estimating and Operations teams to prepare proposals, budgets, and project schedules.
  • Monitor project progress, anticipate potential issues, and implement solutions to maintain client satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular client check-ins to understand upcoming needs and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure all deliverables meet client expectations.
  • Track and report on account performance, providing updates to leadership and clients.
  • Support the Director of National Accounts with strategic initiatives, renewals, and expansions.
  • Uphold Delaware Valley Paving’s brand values of professionalism, integrity, and excellence.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in account management, client services, or project coordination (construction or related industry experience strongly preferred).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency with project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite; CRM experience is a plus.
  • Willingness to work in-office and collaborate closely with team members.
