Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We’re looking for an Accounting Clerk to join our team in Evansville, IN. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with numbers, maintaining accuracy, and supporting a collaborative finance department.

What You’ll Do

• Process and record accounts payable and receivable transactions
• Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on any discrepancies
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation
• Prepare and post journal entries as needed
• Support bank and account reconciliations
• Respond to inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account details
• Assist with audits and financial reporting
• Perform general administrative tasks related to accounting

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree or accounting coursework preferred)
• 3+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
• Manufacturing industry experience is a plus
• Proficient in accounting software (knowledge of Bill.com preferred)
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Office skills
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
