Job Overview:
The Accounts Payable Specialist ensures the companys payable invoices are processed accurately and paid on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately label and track invoices, vouchers, expense reports, check requests, property taxes etc., with proper account for payment and/or deposit.
- Handles vendor correspondence via phone or email.
- Match corresponding purchase orders to incoming invoices with all supporting documentation.
- Investigates and resolves problems associated with processing of invoices.
- Track all employee expense reports, resident stipends, and bi-weekly sub-contractor timesheets and/or invoices.
- Manages a corporate credit card monthly statement, and correspondence with employees to ensure all supporting documentation is accounted for and payment is mailed on schedule.
- Reviews and mails all payments for vendor invoices, sub-contractor invoices/timesheets, utility bills, resident stipends, employee expense reports.
- Deposits accounts receivable payments into the proper entity account for corporate office.
- Receives, researches and resolves a variety of routing internal and external inquiries concerning account status, including communicating the resolution of discrepancies to appropriate persons.

Education/Knowledge/Skills Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience.
- Microsoft Office Suite knowledge preferred.
