Accounts Payable Supervisor – Temp to Hire

Pay: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor with experience working in a high-volume and fast-paced environment.  This role involves overseeing a small AP team and managing the full-cycle accounts payable process, including high-volume invoice processing and vendor reconciliations. Hands on role and will be involved in the daily AP process from beginning to end.

Key Responsibilities for the AP Supervisor:

• Supervise and mentor a team of two Accounts Payable staff
• Oversee full-cycle AP functions: 2-3 way matching, purchase orders, and invoice processing
• Process up to 100 invoices per day
• Perform vendor reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Ensure timely and accurate payments, working closely with other departments
• Review and approve AP reports and manage payment runs
• Responsible for the check runs, ACH and wire payments
• Provide guidance and training to AP staff as needed
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders

Requirements for the AP Supervisor:

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in AP
• High-volume AP experience, including purchase orders and 2-3 way matching
• Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred
• Strong Excel skills - Vlookup and pivot tables
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Experience in the construction industry
