Accounts Receivable - (Supervisor/Lead) AR Supervisor

Position Overview
The AR Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the accounts receivable department, ensuring the efficient management of collections, credit management, and internal controls. This role aims to optimize cash flow and minimize overdue accounts while providing leadership and support to the AR team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage the accounts receivable team to ensure timely collections and accurate reporting.
  • Monitor and analyze accounts receivable aging and implement strategies to reduce overdue accounts.
  • Develop and enforce internal controls and procedures to enhance accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with the finance team during the month-end close process to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Utilize SAP or other ERP systems for tracking and managing accounts receivable.
  • Assist in the credit management process, including evaluating credit risks and setting credit limits.
  • Train and develop staff in best practices for accounts receivable and collections.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in accounts receivable, collections, or credit management, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of internal controls and experience with month-end close processes.
  • Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems related to accounts receivable management.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage a team.
