Adjunct Faculty - Chemistry Priority Application Date: October 24, 2025, open until filled. Anticipated Start Date: January 20, 2026 Inspire the Next Generation of Scientists: Join Taft College as Adjunct Faculty in Chemistry! Taft College is seeking a pool of qualified candidates with demonstrated instructional skills to join an outstanding team of faculty and staff to provide high quality programs and services for our students. Teaching assignments may be temporary, part-time and/or on-call and may be immediate or as needed (as specified in Education Code 8748.25). We are seeking lecturers who have the ability to teach in the above area for inclusion in a pool for the Spring 2026 semester and beyond. Note: Taft College Chemistry Course(s) for this position will be offered Only in Person (on campus). Adjunct teaching opportunities may be Monday-Saturday including day, and evening courses. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s in chemistry; OR Bachelor’s in chemistry or biochemistry; AND Master’s in biochemistry, chemical engineering, chemical physics, physics, molecular biology or geochemistry; OR An Equivalency Determination may be submitted along with all application materials to be considered for this position if you do not meet the stated minimum qualifications.
