Job Description:


The Division of Humanities and Learning Communities is looking to hire Adjunct Faculty staff members to teach for the Communication Department for by in-person and Hybrid in-person/web courses.


  • Ability to teach the following courses
    • COM 241 Introduction to Today's Journalism
    • COM 242 Multimedia Journalism
  • Course offerings are available in both fully in-person and Hybrid in-person/web formats on campus (Charlestown and Chelsea campuses), Monday through Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.


Requirements:


  • Master's degree or Ph.D. in Journalism, Communication, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to work with a diverse faculty, staff, and student population.
  • Teaching experience at the college level, with a preference for community college teaching experience.
  • Ability to teach courses on campus in an in-person setting at BHCC's Charlestown or Chelsea campuses.
  • Effective communication skills are needed.
  • Excellent organizational and teaching skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of instructional technology.
  • Professional experience in any aspect of journalism.


Additional Information:


Salary: $1,397.00 Per Credit Hour
