Description:The Department of Information Systems and Business Analytics (IS/BAN) at Hofstra University invites applications for adjunct(s) in the field of Cybersecurity Management and Business Analytics.
CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Teaching topics include Cybersecurity Infrastructure, Cybersecurity Technologies, Cyber Attacks and Protection Strategies, Information Systems Auditing, Cyber Risk Management, Disaster Recovery, Digital Forensics, Introduction to Business Statistics, and Statistical Data Analytics.
Qualifications:
- A master’s degree in statistics, IS/MIS/CS, or a closely related field from an AACSB accredited institution
- Industry experience and/or professional certifications in cybersecurity are preferred.
- Ability to teach during daytime hours is preferred.
