Midway University invites applications for Adjunct Faculty positions in the School of Business, Equine and Sport Management to teach in both undergraduate and graduate programs. We seek highly qualified and motivated educators who are committed to academic excellence and the professional development of our students.
Position Responsibilities: Adjunct Faculty members are expected to:
Deliver high-quality instruction in face-to-face and online course formats. Employ effective instructional strategies and techniques tailored to undergraduate or graduate teaching. Engage students in research or professional experiences, as appropriate. Participate in University activities that align with the institution's mission. Demonstrate a commitment to fostering a collaborative and inclusive academic environment.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Educational Requirements: Master's degree in the discipline (or 18 graduate credit hours in the field) from an accredited institution. A Ph.D. is required for teaching at the graduate level. Experience: A minimum of three years of relevant professional experience is required. At least one year of teaching experience in higher education is preferred. Skills and Competencies: Demonstrated proficiency in instructional methods and the ability to motivate and evaluate students effectively. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with students, faculty, and external stakeholders.
