Adjunct Instructor - Care and Prevention of Athletic Injuries at InsideHigherEd
Job Description
This is a Hagerstown Community College adjunct faculty position to be filled by a Certified Athletic Trainer to teach the dual enrollment "Care and Prevention of Athletic Injuries" course at Boonsboro High School, a Washington County Public School. The course requires both lecture and hands on application of the recognition, evaluation, diagnosis, and intervention of athletic injuries.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
The appropriate candidate must have a Master's degree in Athletic Training and hold current Maryland licensure. Teaching experience of 2 years is preferred but not required. The individual would be willing to teach at the high school during school hours and should have experience with computer software such as power point and be willing to learn HCC software required for student access to learning information, grading, etc.
