MVCC's School of Business and Hospitality invites applications for part-time Adjunct Instructors. We are seeking Instructors to teach courses in thefollowing disciplines: Business Administration, Accounting, Analytics, Economics, Marketing, Culinary Arts, Baking & Pastry, and Food Service Management.
 Adjunct faculty members teach contracted classes in accordance with establishedpolicies and guidelines. Courses may be taught in traditional classroomsettings, virtually, or a combination. This position may include both daytimeand evening class assignments. Specific assignments will be made according tothe academic qualifications and availability of the individual and the Schoolneeds.
Overview of Job Duties:
 Facilitate classroom instruction; Teach assigned class in accordance with thelearning objectives; Develop and maintain syllabus materials; Evaluate studentperformance; Maintain grades, enter midterm and final grades; Respond promptlyto student inquiries; Maintain attendance records according to MVCC standards;Integrate current and emerging instructional delivery technologies into thelearning process; Maintain professional standards that protect studentconfidentiality; Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing usingdiscretion, patience, and courtesy.
Successful candidates must reside in New York State and have the ability to work on campus as required.
