Aerotek is seeking a Administrative Support Specialist:
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to multiple departments, including Production, Invoicing, and the front office. You will be responsible for handling vendor communications, managing invoices, and utilizing the ERP system for which training will be provided. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is required as data entry will be a significant part of your duties.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and clerical support across various departments.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and manage vendor relations.
- Handle invoicing tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Utilize the ERP system for department-specific tasks; training will be provided.
- Perform data entry tasks using Microsoft Excel and Word.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong data entry skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- At least 2 years of previous clerical or administrative experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Prior experience in the aviation industry is a plus but not required.
- Experience with ERP systems is beneficial but not mandatory.

Work Environment
Work in a comfortable, climate-controlled office environment. The position is a first shift role with working hours from 8 am to 4 pm.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
