Responsibilities- This position provides administrative and clerical support to the Clinical Learning Center (CLC) at the College of Medicine.
 - Serves as initial point of contact for the Clinical Learning Center (CLC). Handles inquiries, including but not limited to, phone, email, and direct contact as well as directing visitors, students, and standardized patients (SPs) to the appropriate faculty or staff for assistance and answering questions regarding scheduling, etc. Greets and directs all visitors appropriately. Verifies availability with staff before directing a visitor or student into the confidential areas within the Clinical Learning Center.
 - Serves as additional travel representative and purchasing point of contact for the department. Assists with special projects, events, and operations as directed by the CLC Director. Maintains inventory of CLC office supplies.
 - Schedules meetings and updates CLC calendar; maintains G122 Linda Stine Conference Room Reservation Calendar. Ensures CLC is kept clean and organized while focusing on safety guidelines set by Environmental Health and Safety; contacts facilities maintenance of potentially harmful issues; and attains and renews necessary trainings of Biohazard and Bloodborne Pathogens.
 - Promotes an atmosphere of teamwork in accomplishing the mission and goal of the CLC to include participating in activities and curriculum delivery as directed and serving as back up for functions as assigned in order to provide adequate coverage. Performs other related duties as assigned by the Director.
 
High school diploma/equivalent and two years of experience; or a combination of post-high school education and experience equal to two years.
