Administrative Assistant – Blood Center (Palo Alto, CA)

Job Details:
- Pay: $29.00 per hour
- Schedule: Tuesday–Friday
- Shift Time:
- 11:00am – 9:30pm
- Hours: 26-week contract; potential for perm
- Start Date: ASAP
- Location: Palo Alto, CA – Blood Center

What We’re Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED
- Typing: 30 WPM
- 1–2 years of admin, clerical, or customer service experience
- Strong data entry and multitasking skills
- Detail-oriented and organized in a fast-paced setting
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office and office equipment
- Previous patient registration experience a plus
What You’ll Be Doing
- Handle patient registration and admissions accurately and in compliance with policies.
- Create and update patient charts in EPIC, including lab and transfusion data entry.
- Process and organize documents (scanning, filing, electronic uploads).
- Manage phone calls and provide clear, professional customer service.
- Support clinical staff with patient materials, follow-ups, and coordination with external agencies.
- Assist with daily operations to keep the Blood Center running smoothly.
