Administrative AssistantWe are seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrative Assistant to support our client’s daily office operations and ensure smooth workflow across teams. This role involves managing schedules, handling communications, maintaining records, and assisting with various administrative tasks. This is a contract to hire opportunity located near Schaumburg, IL. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to executives and team members, including calendar management, travel arrangements, and meeting coordination.
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents.
  • Maintain organized filing systems (digital and physical) and ensure records are up to date.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other communications professionally.
  • Order office supplies and manage inventory.
  • Assist in onboarding new employees and coordinating internal events.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Support special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative or office support role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with scheduling tools and office management software.
  • Familiarity with HR or finance processes.
  • Customer service orientation and a positive attitude.
Job Details:
  • Contract to Hire
  • Pay $24-$32 an hour depending on experience
