- Greet patients warmly and manage check-ins and check-outs.
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments accurately.
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries professionally.
- Assist patients with basic hearing aid troubleshooting, including battery changes, cleaning guidance, and basic device operation instructions.
- Maintain patient records and update information in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Handle billing, insurance verification, and payment processing as needed.
- Coordinate with audiologists and clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming front office environment.
- Provide general administrative support to the clinic as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in healthcare administration is a plus.
- Previous experience in a medical or audiology office preferred.
- Basic understanding of hearing aids and willingness to learn troubleshooting procedures.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EMR systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
