Summary of Job Duties and Responsibilities:

The processing of graduate application files from initial application to admission decision.

  • Verification of transcripts.
  • Processing GRE scores.
  • Upload and verification of files to Xtender for departmental review.
  • Facilitating communication with faculty advisors and program coordinators for admissions decision a priority

Minimum Education Requirements:

  • Two years of college.

Minimum Experience and Skill Requirements:

  • Three years of administrative or related experience in a university, business or related setting. Additional college education and experience may be exchanged year-for-year to meet qualifications.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (both written and oral)
  • Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills, as well as attention to detail.
  • Ability to efficiently work on multiple tasks and fixed deadlines.
  • Ability to exercise sound independent judgment and work successfully with the IIS team and MSU faculty.
  • Ability to learn complex processes, such as foreign educational systems.
  • U.S Citizenship or Legal Permanent Resident as per U.S Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) guidelines for Designated School Officials (DSO).
