Job Summary and Responsibilities Under direction from the clinical chairman provides patient care in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. Dignity Health Medical Group - Arizona and the Digestive Disease Institute is actively seeking an Advanced Gastroenterologist to join our multidisciplinary team in Chandler, AZ. JOB DESCRIPTION: Gastroenterologist to build a practice focused on the breadth of general gastroenterology and advanced procedures including EUS and ERCP Practice in a 429-bed Academic Medical Center and attached clinics Newly expanded state of the art five-suite Endoscopy center Opportunity to supervise residents and fellows Serve as a faculty member for the Creighton University Medical School (Phoenix campus) Gastroenterology and Hepatology Fellowship HIGHLIGHTS: Competitive salary and negotiable based on years of experience Support from General Surgery, all Surgical Subspecialties, Pathology, and Radiology Faculty appointments with Creighton University School of Medicine Generous benefits package that includes an employer-funded pension plan as well as employer-match 403b Relocation allowance for applicable physicians, CME benefit, and excellent malpractice insurance Job Requirements Successful completion of residency program Successful completion of residency program Board qualified or certified. Membership in appropriate professional associations and societies REQUIREMENTS: MD or DO Degree and Board Certification Completed ACGME accredited fellowship training and/or current ABMS Board Certification in Gastroenterology Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital/surgical privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals Must obtain Arizona State medical licensure prior to starting in the position Where You'll Work PRN Advanced/General Gastroenterologist Needed Chandler Regional Medical Center is a full-service, 429-bed acute-care and trauma level 1 hospital, with approximately 78,000 emergency department and 5,000 trauma activations annually. It is a primary stroke center, has cardiovascular and cardiac surgery services, and neurosurgery. Combined, our East Valley facilities deliver over 7,000 babies/year with growth anticipated with the opening of the Women and Children s Pavilion.
