Job Summary


National Microchip is a growing leader in aerospace, aviation, and defense parts distribution. For over 15 years, we have proudly supplied the U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, Boeing, General Atomics, DART, and many more.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Support Specialist to assist our sales and account management teams. This role ensures our sales staff have the resources, information, and administrative support needed to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction. While primarily sales-focused, the position may include light operational tasks such as processing orders and coordinating with the warehouse team.

Responsibilities


  • Prepare and format quotes, bids, and proposals for customers.
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in CRM and ERP systems.
  • Communicate with vendors to negotiate pricing, lead times, and availability.
  • Assist sales team with sourcing products and conducting market/vendor research.
  • Track and follow up on open quotes, orders, and customer requests.
  • Assist with purchase order processing and coordination between sales and warehouse.
  • Ensure sales documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with company standards.
  • Maintain and update internal sales resources, pricing lists, and customer data.
  • Occasionally assist with light receiving, shipping, or order prep during high-volume periods.

Qualifications


  • High school diploma or GED required; Associates degree or administrative training preferred.
  • Previous experience in sales support, administrative assistance, or customer service.
  • Experience in aerospace parts distribution preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Highly organized with strong time management and multitasking skills.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies.
