Under the direction of the Director of Patient Access the Access Center Supervisor manages the on-site Howard employed staff and serves as a liaison to Emerging Global Services Inc. staff. The Supervisor ensures that full registration protocols are followed. The Supervisor is the first escalation point to customer service concerns.

Duties

- Conduct morning huddles

- Escalate scheduling or clinical concerns during the FPP ops huddle

- Audit access center staff to ensure they follow Ambulatory Access Guidelines and NAHAM full registration protocols

- Monitor referrals from Federally Qualified Health Center partners

- Report outstanding referrals to division Chiefs and Access Center Director

- Working with schedulers to manage and reduce pre-registration denials by following NAHAM Access standards

- Monitor Sharpen Access Dashboards

- Conduct training for entry level registration and scheduling staff

- Track KPIs for the Access Team

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma Required. Associate’s degree, CHAA or CPC certification or equivalent preferred.

Experience: 3-5 years’ experience in an Academic Medical Center. 1-2 years supervisory or team lead experience in an Academic Medical Center

Certification: National Association of Health Care Access Management (NAHAM) CHAA or CHAM eligible

Compliance Salary Range Disclosure

Expected Pay Range: $70,000 to $75,000
