Overview:
Our client is a well-established global logistics provider offering full-service freight forwarding solutions. Their Miami office is growing, and they re seeking an experienced Ocean Import or Export Coordinator to join their operations team. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative and fast-paced environment with long-term growth potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily ocean or air import/export shipments from start to finish
Communicate with agents, carriers, and customers to ensure accurate documentation and timely updates
Prepare and review pre-alerts, arrival notices, delivery orders, and final documentation
Schedule pickups, deliveries, and container loadings when needed
Maintain shipment tracking and proactively resolve issues
Enter billing and payables into internal systems
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of operations experience at an international freight forwarder
Strong customer service and communication skills
Experience with CargoWise or similar logistics systems is a plus
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
High school diploma or GED required
