Travel Possible Job Summary:As an Aircraft Mechanic II (Airframes) you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing variousaircraft systems, including engines, avionics, hydraulics, armament, landing gear, and more. You will alsoperform inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs for both structural and functional components, whilemanaging other mechanics to ensure timely task completionPrimary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: * Aircraft Maintenance: Repair and rebuild aircraft systems, including engines, avionics,hydraulics, and structural components. Perform troubleshooting, inspections, and repairs asrequired.* Leadership: Manage and supervise mechanics, ensuring timely completion of tasks andcompliance with safety standards. You will also approve time cards for team members.* Technical Expertise: Interpret technical manuals and data to determine repair methods.Perform various types of inspections on engines, systems, and components.* Specialized Areas: You may specialize in specific areas, such as engine, airframe, electrical, orarmament repair. You will be responsible for modifications, inspections, and keeping aircraft insafe, mission-ready condition.* Support Equipment Compliance: Ensure that Technical Directives (TDs) are followed foraircraft maintenance and equipment management. Ensure compliance with safety and qualitystandards.* Safety & Quality: Ensure that all safety and quality procedures are adhered to, includinghazardous materials handling, FOD prevention, and completing required training.* Certifications: CDQAR (Collateral Duty Quality Assurance Representative) Page 2of 3 Qualifications and Experience: * Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, with at least eight (8) years ofrecent experience in rotary aircraft maintenance, specifically with the H-60 series (includingexperience as a CDQAR/QAR).* MH60-R experience is preferred, along with prior experience in U.S. Navy aircraftmaintenance.* Leadership: At least two years of management experience overseeing a team of mechanics.* Technical Knowledge: Ability to interpret complex technical manuals, perform inspections, anduse specialized tools/equipment.* Certifications: CDQAR (Collateral Duty Quality Assurance Representative) equivalentexperience.and complete aviation ordnance qualifications. * Ability to obtain a Tier 3 Background Investigation and possibly a Secret Clearance.* Shift Flexibility: Availability to work all shifts as needed based on flight schedules and taskrequirements.* Maintain detailed records of all maintenance performed in OOMA or similar to OOMA systemsensuring compliance with 4790 and safety standards
Additional Requirements:* Ability to work with foreign cultures and languages.* Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and medical examination.* Ability to meet physical requirements for the position.* Compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations.* Must be able to handle and dispose of hazardous materials as required. Working Conditions:* Must be capable of lifting 50lbs and performing physical tasks as required.* Computer usage for documentation using codes and clear written and verbal Englishlanguage required. * Constant use of eye sight abilities while reviewing documents, walking around work areasand constant use of English language speech/hearing abilities for communication. * Constant mental alertness around all work areas, must possess planning/organizationskills, and must be able to work under deadlines. * Climbing aircraft using aircraft step and all types of ladders or stands.* Standing for a long period of time with minimal sitting. * Ability to work under extreme weather conditions. * Work site has head, hand, hearing, eye, slip and trip hazards shall use proper PPE andproper safety procedures.
