Position Overview
The Anatomic Pathology Operations Manager oversees daily operations within the histology, cytology, and MOHS laboratories to ensure high-quality testing, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. This leadership role manages supervisory staff, fosters teamwork, and ensures adherence to hospital and accreditation standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Technology or related science required.
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant hospital laboratory experience.
- Current NYS license as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist, Cytotechnologist, Histotechnologist, or Pathologists’ Assistant.
- ASCP certification preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and quality management skills.
