About the Practice: Well-established private practice that is partnered with a large commercial lab Currently 7 Pathologists covering the largest hospital network in northeast Texas Currently 2 PAs on staff Hospital has a joint venture with Texas Oncology Sees a wide variety of Hematopathology and solid tumor cases including Head and neck GYN Breast Lung GI GU Surgicals - 1,952/month Bone Marrows - 26/month Peripheral Smears - 70/month Frozen Sections - 65/month Autopsies - 7/year Position Highlights: Subspecialty training required Advancement opportunities Pathologist-led group that is growth-oriented Candidate Qualifications MD or DO with board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology Fellowship training in Surgical Pathology required Strong computer skills and digital pathology skills is a plus Eligible for medical licensure in TX and a minimum of 2 years' experience preferred Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset Compensation
