Austin Geriatric Specialists (AGS) is the leading provider of excellent and evidence based geriatric care in the Austin area.
AGS is seeking full-time Advanced Practice Nurse to patient calls and provide medical support. This is a remote position with no in-person visits. You will answer clinical questions, triage medical issues, and give verbal orders.
Occasional participation in practice meetings during business hours (approximately 4-5 times a year).
Schedule:
- Wednesday 5 pm - 11 pm
- Thursday 5 pm - Friday 7 am
- Friday 11 pm - Saturday 7 am
- Saturday 11 pm - Sunday 7 am
Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and skilled nursing staff.
- Experience in the clinical management of acute and chronically ill complex geriatric patients.
- Positive and inquisitive attitude.
- Reliable high speed internet access
License/Training: Texas advanced practice license with prescriptive authority. DEA not required.
