Colwen Hotels has an opening for an experienced Area Revenue Strategist to join our talented Revenue Team. The ideal candidate will have two or more years of hotel revenue management experience, a drive for success and the willingness to learn. In this role you would offer direct revenue leadership to our multi-branded hotel portfolio, analyze data, and make strategic plans to grow RevPAR. General Responsibilities: Manage day to day inventory for multiple hotels Collaborate with GM, Marketing, and Sales Leaders to implement proactive revenue generating strategies. Complete projections and forecasts. Collaborate with the revenue team to ensure that corporate initiatives and goals are met Identify key market strategies by: Identifying opportunities for incremental revenue through analysis, and establishing differential pricing based on market segments, demand, positioning, etc. Work with the property teams providing business evaluation and analysis of competitive sets, price positioning, seasonality and mix along with group and business transient strategies. Conduct weekly and/or bi-weekly strategy meetings to review market share performance and upcoming pace and pricing, restrictions, projections and channel strategies. Participate in preparing budgets and business plans. Measure, analyze and report out on booking trends, pick up, pace and projections to all stakeholders. Assist in coverage of the entire portfolio as needed. Update, analyze and communicate group and transient pace reports, ensure the hotel is positioned correctly for each market segment. Analyze, interpret, and explain statistical data to develop strategies and plan a course of action. Compile, analyze and report out on month and year-end statistics with recommendations on how to continue to increase future RevPAR. Requirements: 2+ years of hotel experience Must have experience in Marriott/Hilton/IHG systems. Hyatt and Independent preferred Proficiency in Microsoft office applications Strong time management and organizational skills Effective written and verbal communications skills Analytical thinker Ability to work under pressure and under own initiative Excellent mathematical comprehension Travel required Ability to work evenings and weekends based on the needs of the business.
