Job Title: Assembly and Integration Design Engineer Job Location: Fort Worth TX 76101 Onsite Requirements: Design Engineer with 5 years Aerospace design experience Catia v5/V6 Design and develop structural provisions, brackets, and subsystem installations through research, analysis, and trade studies. Job Description: The Assembly and Integration Design Engineer is responsible for design activities related to the preparation and release of engineering data for Environmental Controls, Fuel, Hydraulics, Mechanical Controls, and other subsystems supporting the completion and certification of the aircraft. This role ensures compliance with Client Design Best Practices, customer and regulatory specifications, Client Standard procedures, and program directives. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop structural provisions, brackets, and subsystem installations through research, analysis, and trade studies. Create model-based definitions including detailed 2D and 3D annotations for part, assembly, and installation documentation of air vehicle subsystems. Develop and maintain accurate engineering bills of material (EBOMs). Collaborate with cross-functional teams in engineering, manufacturing, and specialty areas to resolve technical and integration challenges. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers; lead the development of technical solutions for assigned tasks. Ensure tasks are executed on schedule and within budget. Support supplier and partner design activities and provide engineering oversight. Apply advanced engineering principles and problem-solving skills to develop innovative, compliant solutions. Required Skills: Strong proficiency with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and part sizing fundamentals. Expertise in CATIA V5, CATIA V6, or 3DEXPERIENCE (preferred). Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead design efforts and report progress to program management. Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, and suppliers. Experience & Education: Minimum: 5+ years of aerospace design or relevant industry experience. Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering preferred; related disciplines with relevant experience will be considered. **3rd party and subcontract staffing agencies are not eligible for partnership on this position. 3rd party subcontractors need not apply.
