Thermo Fisher, a leading manufacturing organization in the I medical equipment sector, is seeking an Assembler to join their team. As an Assembler, you will be part of the production department supporting the assembly line operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork skills which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Assembly
Location: Asheville, NC
Pay Range: $18
Shift: First Shift
What's the Job?
- Assemble parts and sub-assemblies according to design specifications and quality standards.
 - Select components, align, and assemble them in proper sequence by drilling holes, adding rivets, screws, bolts, braces, tape, cement, or solder.
 - Apply wiring harnesses, sensors, and electrical components following the Sequence of Events (SOE).
 - Use hand tools, drills, rivet guns, saws, hy-pot testers, and drill presses to complete tasks.
 - Inspect parts during assembly to ensure quality standards are met and prepare final products for packing and shipping.
 
What's Needed?
- Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams and recognize color codes.
 - Experience with hand tools and basic electrical components.
 - Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
 - Willingness to perform cross-training and support team operations.
 - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain safety standards.
