Assistant Credit Manager needed for Lafayette area business. Immediate opening.
The Assistant Credit Manager will be responsible for supporting the Credit Manager in all facets of credit and collections functions within the department.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform task related to credit and collections and overall accounts receivable entry and management
- Manager top tier accounts; serve as subject matter experts
- Assist team with credit inquiries and order releases.
- Assist with portfolio reviews and month end reporting
- Acts as back-up for the Credit Manager.
- Recommend credit limits for accounts in the portfolio and identify issues needing escalation
- Able to lead customer account meetings.
- Other duties, as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- BA in Accounting/Finance preferred or equivalent or 12 + years experience Credit Collections Experience
- 8+ years’ of credit and collections experience
- Advanced Excel skills (vlookup/pivot etc.)
- Advanced analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
