Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, in partnership with Korn Ferry, invites nominations and expressions of interest for the position of Assistant Dean, Career Management Center (CMC).

At this pivotal moment, Kellogg seeks a strategic and visionary leader to serve as its next Assistant Dean of the Career Management Center. Reporting to the Associate Dean of Degree Programs & Operations, the Assistant Dean will oversee all career services, resources, and staff across Kellogg’s portfolio of full-time and working professional MBA programs, as well as the Master in Management (MiM) program. The Assistant Dean will be responsible for leading the strategic vision for Kellogg’s career management function, ensuring best-in-class services for approximately 2,900 students. They will drive innovation in employer relations, student coaching, and technology-enabled solutions to meet evolving market needs.
The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of strategic leadership in one of the following areas:
- Complex, student-focused environments, with deep experience navigating the evolving dynamics of graduate business education and the broader employment market, and extensive leadership experience in career services, including oversight of large, complex program portfolios spanning multiple MBA and master’s formats; or
- Organizations where talent development and recruitment are key drivers of success, with demonstrated success in managing and developing high-performing teams and building strong employer relationships.
The candidate will be able to clearly articulate the importance of employer engagement and market awareness, balancing institutional priorities with industry trends. They should also demonstrate comfort with data analytics and emerging technologies, as well as experience leading through organizational transformation.
