Position Summary
As the Assistant Director of Beverage Operations at 16 On Center, you will be a seasoned bar expert and champion of our mission statement and guiding principles across all 16 On Center properties. This role serves as an extension of the Senior Director of Beverage Operations, working collaboratively to shape strategic and exciting beverage programs, enhance our brand identity, drive revenue growth, maintain operational excellence, and exceed guest expectations.
Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Operations
- Serve as the primary liaison between the beverage shared services team and onsite managers, fostering clear communication, timely feedback, and creative problem solving.
- Provide active oversight and support of bar shifts to ensure the highest level of service and operational excellence across all properties, guided by our mission statement and servant leadership philosophy.
- Maintain accurate documentation through onsite management teams to ensure accountability and consistency in performance standards.
Finance
- Oversee pricing, costs, overtime, P&L reviews, and key performance metrics at assigned properties to maximize profitability.
- Manage labor, product offerings, and bar efficiency to drive financial performance.
- Strengthen staff product knowledge and operational skills to improve upselling confidence, minimize waste, and increase efficiency during service.
Leadership
- Support onsite teams in the recruitment, selection, training, and development of talented, passionate bar staff.
- Practice servant leadership and set the standard for scrappiness, enthusiasm, and hospitotally for our onsite managers
About You
- 5+ years of bar management experience required.
- Nighttime availability for weekly service checks and spot coverage.
- Proven track record of creating exciting, efficient, and profitable beverage menus.
Passionate about building community within teams and with guests. - Skilled in creating SOPs for all aspects of bar operations.
- Experienced in hiring, training, and developing staff.
- Comfortable working with beverage brands to plan events, promotions, and activations.
- Experienced in reviewing and interpreting profit and loss statements.
- Familiarity with Toast POS is a plus but not required.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-time, Exempt
- Schedule: Primarily business hours with additional evening and weekend coverage as required for service checks and onsite support.
- Compensation: $85k – $110k, depending on experience.
