Job SummaryThe Assistant Director of Board provides critical operational support to current and future boards, councils, and task forces that are managed via the Advancement Division. This includes the GGC Foundation Board of Trustees, five school-based Boards of Visitors, the President's Advisory Council, and the Alumni Association Board.
Responsibilities- Maintains official records, including meeting minutes, bylaws, articles of incorporation, conflict of interest forms and assessments
 - Ensures appropriate data is collected from board meetings and events, entered properly into the database, and related reports and lists are prepared and distributed
 - Develops and executes stewardship plans for all current, honorary, and emeritus trustees
 - Coordinates all board meetings in collaboration with the unit-assigned fundraisers; and serves as the primary administrative point of contact for the Foundation Board of Trustees;
 - Collaborates with Foundation leadership and advancement staff to monitor volunteer leadership giving
 - Maintains tracking data on all potential and current board members including prospective board members, term renewals, committee memberships, and emeritus status; Coordinates vetting process for all new board members.
 - Manages all board relations activities for the Foundation Board of Trustees including maintenance of the meeting calendar; assembling and distributing materials; finalizes agendas; coordinates assessments, proxy votes, policy forms, and other activities; attends regular and special board and committee meetings; takes meeting minutes prepares them for review; administers board management software
 - Collaborates with colleagues to ensure that policies, procedures, and activities are consistent across all boards.
 - Performs other duties as assigned; work requires some evenings and weekends
 
- 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree
 - Three or more years of relevant work experience
 
- Experience with Raiser's Edge
 - Experience involving donor relations, board relations, nonprofit operations, advancement services/development operations, professional associations or related fields
 
Salary range from 45,300 - 56,600
Salary offer will be dependent on candidate's experience and qualifications, internal equity considerations, budget availability, and salary administration guidelines.
