Under close supervision from designated supervisor, assist in performing basic electrical work. Assist with installation, repair and preventive maintenance of electrical or telecommunications equipment.
Essential Functions- Install and replace lighting fixtures, light bulbs, balasts, switches & fuses, assist in installation, repair & preventive maintenance of electrical equipment and assists in analyzing electrical equipment for safety.
- Perform minor custodial and/or general maintenance/laborer duties (e.g., assist in plumbing, carpentry, painting, groundskeeping, etc.).
- Maintain housekeeping conditions as prescribed by area.
- Assist with wiring, cabling, installing, repair and/or modifications of telecommunications equipment.
- May perform minor general maintenance/laborer duties.
- Maintain housekeeping conditions as prescribed by area.
- Perform related duties based on departmental need. This job description can be changed at any time.
High School Diploma or GED
Required Trainings/CertificationsValid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Required ExperienceAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers
