Assistant General Manager Qualifications:

·       5+ years in fine dining management

·       Wine and sake knowledge, especially Japanese varietals. 

·       Proven leadership in high-volume, upscale restaurant settings. 

·       Strong guest service and financial management skills. 

·       Proficiency in restaurant software (e.g., Toast, Resy).

Assistant General Manager Responsibilities:

·       Oversee front-of-house operations for seamless service

·       Lead and train staff to uphold high hospitality standards

·       Manage scheduling, payroll, and cost control

·       Train staff on pairings and engage guests with recommendations. 

·       Host wine/sake events and manage inventory efficiently
