• A PhD, MA, or MFA in Media Production, or Mass Communication, or Film/Video Production, or a related field is required. Foreign equivalent degree from a nationally accredited institution accepted. Professional background in areas such as: film/media production, strategic communication, or other comparable professional experience in media industries.

Responsibilities:

• Teaching requirement is typically 30 semester credit hours per year over three semesters in some (but not all) of the following subject areas/courses:

Strategic Communication, Multimedia Production, Film/Video Production, and courses based on the candidate's field of experience

• Scholarship, creative endeavor, ongoing professional development, and university service are required.

Benefits:

• Salary range: 104 K to 124K, depending on credentials, academic rank and experience.

• Annually renewable contract eligible for Continuing Faculty Status (BYU-H equivalent of “tenure-track”).
