Advertised Job Summary:The University of South Carolina College of Nursing seeks nurse scientists specializing in maternal child health. This on-site position offers the opportunity to expand the Perinatal, Pediatrics, and Family Research Center (PPFRC) and advance health outcomes for women, children, and families through impactful research, innovative education, and community engagement.

Candidates at the Assistant Professor level are expected to have:
- PhD in Nursing
 - a pre-doctoral and/or post-doctoral experience and/or funding relevant to maternal child health,
 - a focused program of research with a history of publications and grant submissions.
 
Candidates at the Associate Professor level are expected to have:
- PhD in Nursing
 - a record of externally funded research grants relevant to maternal child health,
 - scientific partnerships with junior and senior research faculty,
 - PhD-level student teaching and mentorship.
 
The selected candidates will join the College of Nursing’s research team of junior and senior-level researchers with established research programs.Preferred Qualifications:
