Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of adult congenital heart disease as well as congenital echocardiography. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Board certification or board eligible in Adult Congenital Heart Disease is required.
Teaching responsibilities may include teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, as well as formal lecture opportunities within the department.
Clinical responsibilities may include outpatient adult congenital heart disease clinic, inpatient adult congenital heart disease consult service, congenital echocardiogram interpretation and reporting.
Candidates may participate in opportunities involving collaborative clinical research and research mentorship for trainees, however research is not required in the academic clinician track.
