Assistant Professor Nephrology-Hypertension, Academic Clinician Track

The Division of Renal-Electrolyte and Hypertension in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of care of patients with complex hypertension. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Applicants should be board certified or board eligible in Nephrology.
Teaching responsibilities may include teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. The academic clinician track requires 100 credits per year of active and high-quality teaching.
Clinical responsibilities may include care for patients in both inpatient and outpatient services at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
Expertise in treatment of patients with complex hypertension and with neuroendocrine tumors, and certification by the American Society of Hypertension is preferred.
