Worcester State University's Department of Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences invites applicants for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in speech-language pathology with an expertise in any of the following areas:
- acquired adult language disorders/aphasia
- cognitive communicative disorders
- adult neurogenic communicative disorders
- voice and/or resonance disorders
- feeding and swallowing disorders
- craniofacial anatomy and physiology
The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses (for a total of 24 credits or a 4-4 across two academic semesters), advise undergraduate and graduate
students, have the opportunity to supervise in the on-campus Speech-Language Hearing Center, have the opportunity to mentor students in a research environment, and serve on Department and University committees. Scholarship in the applicant's area of expertise is expected. Collaborative research within the department is possible, as well as across departments such as Special
Education, Occupational Therapy, and others.

Qualifications:
- Earned doctorate (Ph.D. or Ed.D., ABD with a completion date of September 1, 2026 will be considered)
- Eligibility for Commonwealth of Massachusetts professional licensure in Speech-Language Pathology, and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
